Le Nid d'Aigle est le terminus du Tramway du Mont-Blanc. Cette gare accueille les alpinistes ainsi que les promeneurs à 2 362 m d'altitude au-dessous du glacier de Bionnassay. L'hiver, le tramway s'arrête à la gare de Bellevue, car la station Nid d'Aigle n'est pas accessible en raison des risques d'avalanche. Un voyage en tramway offre un panorama exceptionnel. C'est au Nid d'Aigle que part la « Voie Royale » du mont Blanc.
